Tuition Costs & Financial Aid Resources
The UD Department of Physical Therapy tuition rate for the 2019-2020 academic year, Class of 2021, is $1051/credit hour with typical annual tuition rate increases of about 4%, but subject to change. Due to a College of Health Sciences tuition credit, the DPT student tuition rate is lower than the published University of Delaware graduate tuition rate. Note that upon entry into the DPT program, the credit hour tuition rate will remain constant throughout the period of your study in the DPT program. You may refer to the curriculum to plan costs per semester noting that the number of credits per semester may vary depending on student registration to optional courses, assignment to an Integrated Clinical Experience (ICE), or modification to the curriculum schedule.
Also note that all DPT students have the same graduate tuition rate; however, Delaware residents who apply during the early phase of each admissions cycle are awarded tuition scholarships which may vary from year to year. The Department of Physical Therapy also awards Deans Diversity scholarships and, as funds are available, merit-based scholarships which are not reflective in the figures above and would provide a student with additional savings. Please contact the DPT Admissions Office at email@example.com or 302-831-8910 for further information.
