Congratulations to Dr. Steve Tepper, one of our most beloved professors, for receiving the 2020 Spirit of Philanthropy Award by the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research. This award honors those who display exemplary dedication to our profession through volunteerism and support of the research that propels this field forward. In the words of Barbara Malm, CEO of FPTR, “the service awards are the highest honor that FPTR can bestow on its supporters in recognition of their excellent service to the physical therapy profession.”
Dr. Tepper’s immense passion for physical therapy shines through, not only in his teaching of future clinicians, but also through his unwavering support of research aimed at reducing unwarranted practice variation. Our DPT students, faculty, and staff wish to extend our sincerest thank you to Dr. Tepper for all he does for our program and for the PT community. From each and every one of us at UDPT, congratulations to Dr. Tepper on this award. It is so well deserved!
