Physical therapy’s Karin Grävare Silbernagel will research exercise treatments for Achilles tendinopathy

University of Delaware assistant professor Karin Grävare Silbernagel (Physical Therapy) received a five-year, $2.3 million Research Project Grant (R01) from the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases to study Achilles tendinopathy. This overuse injury is most prevalent in active individuals between the ages of 35 and 55, but occurs in people of all ages and activity levels. Read more on UDaily.
