The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) posted the full video of the 22nd John H.P. Maley Lecture from the 2017 summer’s APTA Annual Conference & Expo. This year’s prestigious presenter was our very own Tara Jo Manal, PT, DPT, FAPTA; her presentation “Strike While the Iron Is Hot” challenged the physical therapy profession to resolve the issue of unwarranted variation in practice.

Physical therapy cannot move forward as a profession until those who practice it resolve the issue of unwarranted variation in practice. Tara Jo Manal, in her delivery of the 22nd John H. P. Maley Lecture was unequivocal in sending this message to the profession.
