Q: Do I have to be a part of the Honors Program to attend Phi Sigma Pi recruitment?
A: No! Phi Sigma Pi is open to all students, as long as they meet the requirements listed above.
Q: Does it cost anything to attend Phi Sigma Pi recruitment?
A: No, there is no fee associated with the recruitment process, but you must register with the University before the end of recruitment (see link above).
Q: Are there dues associated with Phi Sigma Pi?
A: Yes, but they are relatively small compared to other Greek Chapters at the University, both Co-Ed and all-male/all-female.
Q: Do I have to attend all four nights of recruitment?
A: No, attendance at all four recruitment nights is not required, but highly encouraged. If you cannot attend all four nights of recruitment, and have a reason (such as lab, class, religious holiday, etc.), you will have a chance to indicate this to us when you attend recruitment, or you can send an email to rushphisigmapiud@gmail.com.
Q: Is Phi Sigma Pi a part of Greek Life?
A: Yes, Phi Sigma Pi is Greek! We are classified as a Special Interest Fraternity.
Q: Can I be in another Greek Fraternity or Sorority and Rush Phi Sigma Pi?
A: Sadly, you cannot be in another charter Greek Fraternity or Sorority and Rush Phi Sigma Pi. However, if your Greek organization is a registered student organization then you can Rush Phi Sigma Pi.
Q: Is there a dress code for Recruitment?
A: The fourth night of recruitment has a business casual dress code, but the other three have no specific dress code.
Q: What should I expect at Recruitment?
A: Expect to meet the Brothers, and lots of new people! Recruitment groups are kind of like group interviews between prospective members and Brothers, but more informal.
