As Member-At-Large of the Pride Caucus, Jeff Friedland serves as a voting member of the board and contributes to caucus projects and committees. Jeff arrived at UD in January 2018 as the Associate Vice President for Research Administration for the Research Office. Much of Jeff’s free-time is spent with his family. Jeff and his spouse have a young daughter and much of their time is spent caring and loving her. Jeff is a self-proclaimed sci-fi nerd and an avid Boston sports fan. Jeff is also a former athlete and was one the founders of the very first Boston Gay Basketball League.

- Movies: Sci-fi, Fantasy, Superhero, and Horror Genres
- Music: Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce, Adam Lambert, and EDM Genre
- Literature: anything by James Baldwin and Toni Morrison, various sci-fi and fantasy literature
- Hobbies: Sports, cooking, and dogs
