Delaware Academy for School Leadership

The Delaware Academy for School Leadership (DASL) improves public education by developing and supporting education leaders throughout all levels of their careers by providing powerful research-based professional learning programs and differentiated coaching services, and by advocating for the best education practices and policies. 

Professional Development Center for Educators

The Professional Development Center for Educators within the University of Delaware’s College of Education and Human Development works closely with teachers and administrators to carefully craft services that meet the particular needs of schools and school districts. 

Center for Disabilities Studies

The Center for Disabilities Studies works to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families through education, advocacy, service and research. It promotes empowerment and opportunity, accessibility and inclusiveness, so all may fully participate in – and enrich – their communities.

Delaware Center for Teacher Education (DCTE) 

The Delaware Center for Teacher Education (DCTE) within the College of Education and Human Development provides support services for students and faculty in 28 educator preparation programs at the University of Delaware. These undergraduate and graduate programs are located in six of the seven colleges across campus.

The Democracy Project

The Institute for Public Administration’s Democracy Project specializes in the delivery of K-12 professional learning in the area of civics education, working closely with the Delaware Department of Education and Social Studies Coalition of Delaware to develop standards aligned assessments, instructional materials, and other educational resources for Delaware’s teachers and students. 

Center for Economic Education & Entrepreneurship 

The Center for Economic Education & Entrepreneurship within the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics works with K-12 educators and students in economics, personal finance and entrepreneurship by providing dynamic, effective and standards-based professional learning, resources and programs.

Delaware Center for Geographic Education

The Delaware Center for Geographic Education (DCGE) within the University of Delaware’s Department of Geography and Spatial Sciences supports k-12 educators throughout the state in strengthening understanding of Delaware’s geography standards. We work with districts in the identification and adoption of standards-based curriculum, and are active in providing instructional resources which utilize the latest geospatial technology
