Type species: Hadropygos rhombos Gonzon and Bartlett, 2008
South America (Bolivia)
There is a single described species.
Hadropygos rhombos Gonzon and Bartlett, 2008: 250 – Bolivia
I have seen undescribed species in this genus from Panama and Argentina; I expect others will show up.
None. Recorded specimens were collected at lights.
See FLOW in case any turn up that I am unaware of.
Similar to Metadelphax in a very general way. Pale brown, with dark frons, prominent facial carinae against dark background; wings slightly infuscate (brachypter unknown at present). Male pygofer greatly expanded on dorsolateral portion of opening, apex of expansion hooked medially. Armature of diaphragm large, prominent and rhomboid in shape. Abdominal segment X with a pair of processes, rather approximated.
I suspect they come to lights.
