Recent Planthopper Literature – Archived list for 2019

2019 calender year planthopper literature

This is an archived list of recent planthopper (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha: Fulgoromorpha) literature, updated occasionally.  It includes all the planthopper literature I listed for the 2019 calendar year. My intention is to be complete, but that is unlikely.  It does include all references (that I found) that include planthoppers (Fulgoroidea) in the title plus any literature (including theses) with geographic, taxonomic, or biological information on planthopper species, including Coleoscytiodea and Surijokocixiodea. I include meeting abstracts if they are widely available, although I have mostly limited this to peer-reviewed literature, technical books, and documents (grey literature may be included, popular literature and field guides are not).

Literature from 2018 is now archived here. The current “Recent Planthopper Literature” is here.

A few items of literature ‘disappeared’ when my website was recently moved.  I will replace them as they come to my attention.

Planthopper literature published (or found) November-December 2019 (substantive update made in March 2020 to include items not included).
