1. What elements of your blog were incorporated in your research paper, if any? If nothing from your blog made it to your final paper, why not?
I was able to use the information I had found for a counter argument that was in regard to the use of Facebook and why it is not as good of a social network for meaningful connection between generations. The source that was incorporated into that blog post was utilized in my paper.
2.How does your research fit into your studies and your life?
Although the research has not correlated to my studies in school, it does fit with my life. Connecting to older generations is an important task in which you can benefit a lot from, both as a member of the younger generation and as an elder. Since my grandparents live in Bulgaria, connecting with them through the internet would be much easier and give us a deeper connection if we were to spark meaningful interaction.
What is the biggest change you have noticed in your writing?
I have noticed that I was able to incorporate a counter argument much different than I have previously in my other papers. Also, I have noticed that I have improved on introduction sentences as well as concluding sentences. After discussing with my professor the outline of such sentences, I was able to better understand how to construct them.
What advice would you gibe to future E10 students?
I would tell students to focus on their topic earlier on and if they are also blogging, to make sure their blog posts go along with their future topic to make it easiest for them to finally write their paper. In addition, come to class.
