Tickets for the Friday night comedy show, Family Fest Indoor Tailgate and Sunday brunch will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1. Please visit the Ticket Information page for more information about purchasing tickets.
Please join us for this special weekend on the University of Delaware Newark campus. Events include:
- The Friday Night Comedy Show featuring Jeff Foxworthy – live at the Bob Carpenter Center (Friday)
- Major Mania – information about career pathways, majors, minors and out-of-classroom experiences (Friday)
- Family Fest Indoor Tailgate – food, fun and festivities for the whole family (Saturday)
- UD Football – cheer on the Blue Hens as they take on Elon (Saturday)

Parking is available in numerous parking lots and garages across campus. Recommended parking lots are Pearson, Amstel, and the library as well as the Perkins Student Center garage, which is $6 per day. In addition, complimentary parking is available in lots 3, 54, and 55 located at the corner of Wyoming Road and South Chapel Street and in lot 6 on Laird Campus, slightly north of the Christiana West Tower. Complimentary parking is also available at the Bob Carpenter Center on Friday evening for the comedy show. Fees are charged for parking at the stadium and on south campus on Saturday. The fee for single game parking on south campus is $15 per car. Campus parking maps are available on the Parking and Transportation website. For information about tailgating at the football game, please see the parking and tailgating document. Please note that items prohibited from the Delaware Stadium for football games are: alcohol, animals, backpacks, bottles, cans, coolers, large bags, noisemakers, open containers, outside food and drinks, umbrellas, video cameras and weapons. Please also note that there is no re-entry to the football game after exiting.
Special PFW Shuttle buses will run continuous loops from the Smith overpass and Perkins Student Center to the Bob Carpenter Center on Saturday beginning at 12:30 p.m. and running until 1 hour after the football game ends, approximately 8:30 p.m. Visit the UD Shuttle Schedule for the regular shuttle schedule.
Ticket refunds are not issued. Most events do not require tickets but do require an RSVP to the host department. Please refer to specific event details for more information.
