We have about 60 teachers from K-12 attending this year, with 3 separate parallel sessions most of the days.

Parking:
From Newark going north on New London Road, enter David Hollowell Drive just past the Marriott Courtyard.
Pass the entry circle entrance to Clayton Hall.
Take the first left towards the parking.
Take the first left to the closest parking to Clayton Hall.
Parking is free for all participants. You do not need to use the parking meter (located as you walk to Clayton Hall).

When:
Plan to arrive 8:30 AM on Monday, June 19 for registration and checkin.
First session starts promptly at 9am.
Mon-Thurs: 9am-4pm
Fri: 9am-12:15

Meals provided for free:
Breakfast 8:30-9
Coffee/snack breaks morning and afternoon
Lunch each day

We have your food restrictions recorded from your confirmation form you completed earlier.

What to bring: Laptop with internet capability and note taking supplies as you like

What to wear: casual, comfortable clothes and sweater for air conditioned buildings

Monday: algorithms and programming
Tuesday: creativity – engaging students’ creativity in computer science
Wednesday: data collection and analysis
Thursday: internet, web programming, exploring all kinds of technologies for engaging students: ozobots, spheros, etextiles, circuit playground (code.org), makey makey, bee bots,…
Friday morning: recruiting and retention for broadening participation in computing, sharing projects/lessons learned

Each day has a showcase of teachers showing off some lessons/projects they have done in their classrooms
