OEI’s ongoing book club returns this fall with a powerful and timely collection of essays addressing a wide array of multicultural feminist topics! We will be reading Roxane Gay’s New York Times Bestseller “Bad Feminist” and engaging in a timely discussion about a variety of issues along the way. In the era of #metoo, voices are no longer silent, stories are being told, and challenging conversations are no longer being avoided. This deeply personal, profoundly influential, and easily accessible collection of essays touches on everything from pop culture to politics. Along the way, Gay breaks down barriers and allows us to engage in the dialogue we so clearly need to be having today!
