- Direct/Inverse scattering in composite materials, esp. poroelastic materials
- Partial differential- and integral equations
- Homogenization theory and its applications in material sciences
- Application of Herglotz-Nevanlinna functions in developing efficient solvers for physical systems with memory terms.

- Efficient Quadrature for fractional time-derivatives with the best choice of interpolation points (graduate student projects available)
- RKHS framework for solving integral equations of first kind
- Spectral analysis of poroelastic wave equations with memory terms (graduate student projects available)
- Spectral analysis of dispersive Maxwell’s equations with Cole-Cole polarization model (graduate student projects available)
- Sparse representation of kernels
- Adaptive Localized Regularization for solving NMR imaging problems (graduate student projects available)
- Homogenization for diffusion in porous media with the tool of random walks (graduate student project available)
I am currently part of the 2020 EU RISE Grant: Project EXPOWER, funded by EU Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) funding in mathematics under H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. Duration: 2021-2025
