  • Direct/Inverse scattering in composite materials, esp. poroelastic materials
  • Partial differential- and integral equations
  • Homogenization theory and its applications in material sciences
  • Application of Herglotz-Nevanlinna functions in developing efficient solvers for physical systems with memory terms.
  • Exponential analysis

Current Research Projects:

  • Efficient Quadrature for fractional time-derivatives with the best choice of interpolation points (graduate student projects available)
  • RKHS framework for solving integral equations of first kind
  • Spectral analysis of poroelastic wave equations with memory terms (graduate student projects available)
  • Spectral analysis of dispersive Maxwell’s equations with Cole-Cole polarization model (graduate student projects available)
  • Sparse representation of kernels
  • Adaptive Localized Regularization for solving NMR imaging problems (graduate student projects available)
  • Homogenization for diffusion in porous media with the tool of random walks (graduate student project available)

I am currently part of the 2020 EU RISE Grant: Project EXPOWER, funded by EU Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) funding in mathematics under H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. Duration: 2021-2025
