MEDT 490/690 – Genetic and Molecular Diagnostics for Clinical Lab – (3 credits) – ONLINE
Molecular diagnostics topics emphasize DNA, RNA and protein structure and function, including detailed review of the central dogma. Genetic topics emphasize cell development, chromosome structure and function, and disease inheritance patterns. MEDT 267 – Emergency Medical Services (3 credits) – Face-to-Face
Provides education and training in emergency medical services. It is a blended course with an online component and required practical experience. Students who successfully complete the course will be eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification examinations. Course requires permission of course director, Dr. Esther Biswas-Fiss. Preference will be given to students pursuing careers in healthcare.
