What’s Happening in the VFTG, Week of 8/5/2024

The Garden is looking very good due to the help of our Master Gardener volunteers.  There was no need to water today as we had adequate rain over the last week, so we first weeded and trimmed.

We harvested: Swiss Chard (Bright Lights), Tomatoes (Juliet, and volunteer Cherry Tomato), Squash (49’er hybrid, and volunteer Scallop Squash), Shishito Peppers, Pole Beans (Monte Gusto), Bush Beans (Blue Lake, Royal Burgundy, Goldmine), and assorted herbs.

We planted Daikon Radishes in the circular garden near the composter.

Thank you for joining us in the VFTG!
