Our new research article, “Literacy-supporting skills in college students with specific reading comprehension deficit and developmental language disorder,” analyzes language-related skills that support literacy with a focus on comparing those skills in individuals with specific reading comprehension deficit (S-RCD) and developmental language disorder (DLD) against individuals with typical language and reading (TD) and both S-RCD and DLD. We found that skills that support reading comprehension differed between adults with specific learning disability subtypes and those with typical language and reading.
