The Fall 2020 Submissions Deadline is November 26!

Each semester, the Main Street Journal accepts submissions from local artists and writers to be considered for publication.

The submission deadline for the Fall 2020 edition is Thursday, November 26.

You can submit:

• 1-5 pieces of artwork (high-resolution jpeg)
• 1-5 pages of prose (fiction or non-fiction)
• 1-5 poems

This semester we’re doing things a bit differently–so feel free to get creative with how you stylize your submissions! All stylized submissions must be sent as vertical (portrait) oriented jpegs.

• Scan in flowers with your prose!
• Cut up your poems!
• Write your pieces by hand!
• Texturize!
• Whatever you can think of, do it!

In the body of the email, please include:

• The author name you’d like printed with the piece(s)
• The title of the piece(s)
• The genre you are submitting to (for writing)
• The medium of the piece (for art)
