The Lincoln Essay Contest is for Delaware high school students (Grades 9-12), awarding post-secondary scholarships to the essay winners. The Lincoln Club of Delaware is grateful to our Presenting Sponsor, WSFS Bank, for providing the funds for these scholarships. Please see the contest rules for submission guidelines and dates.

Congratulations to our 2023 Essay Winners

The Lincoln Club of Delaware is proud to present the winners of the 2023-2024 essay contest, open to all secondary school students who live in or attend school in Delaware. Each of the two equal winners will receive a $1000 college scholarship, and they and their guests will attend the Lincoln Club’s annual Lincoln Birthday Dinner. The winners, in alphabetical order, are Elodie Chevrier, from Cab Calloway School of the Arts; and Vivian Li, from Caesar Rodney High School. Their essays can be found linked below, together with those of previous winners.
