Tailored Training

The purpose of the 2-hour ally trainings is to provide students, faculty and staff with baseline knowledge about the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ+) community. It will address concepts of identity, pronouns, homophobia, discrimination and privilege. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from UD students about their experiences. In addition this training serves the needs of allies by helping them acquire skills to be effective. Through scenarios and creating a personal ally action plan participants will leave with concrete ideas and goals to help create a more inclusive campus climate.

April 26, 2018 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm in the Career Services Workshop room

Registration for Ally Training will close 3 business days prior to the date of the program. At that time if you have registered you will receive a confirmation e-mail. 
All programs are on a first come, first serve basis. If you register and can no longer attend please e-mail lgbt-allies@udel.edu as waiting lists may occur. You will receive an e-mail notifying you if you are placed on a waiting list.
