LGBT Program Coordinator

Harless-Balmer_Rebekah-2015Rebekah Harless-Balmer has come to UD from West Chester University of Pennsylvania where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies. She continued her education in their CACREP accredited Higher Education Counseling & Student Affairs program. She has recently been certified as a national counselor.

Her activism reaches back to 2006 and her passion for advocating for students in the LGBTQ+ community on college campuses was a main focus during her time at WCU. She has experience in a wide range of trainings, activism, advocating, and student support services. She is very excited to see what great things can happen at UD.
