Our Story
On December 2nd, 2007, the DeLTA Pi chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. was founded by five Daring and Passionate women seeking a true sisterhood. Lorimar Peña, Angela Capello, Elizabeth Alcayaga, Ashley Contreras and Sharon Pozzo paved the way through their professionalism, aspirant hearts and self-less demeanors for countless chapter sisters to follow. It is because of them that we have all discovered an un-matched love for our sisters and this organization.
Our Daring and Passionate Chapter has pledged to uphold and honor the traditions and principles of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. Dating back to 2007, we have focused our efforts on our national philanthropy, community involvement, academic excellence and building leaders. Founded as the FIRST Latin sorority, our beautiful national organization expands cross-country, providing sisters with a unique networking and family-like experience. Our colors are Burgundy and Grey and our Principles are Unity, Love & Respect.

No matter the distance, we continue to keep a close connection with all sisters in the chapter, both undergrad and alum.
