University of Delaware Coast Day, “A Ripple Through Time”. October 6, 2019. Conducted outreach activities in the Robotics Discovery Lab during the day-long community event sponsored by the
University of Delaware’s College of Earth, Ocean, & Environment and the Delaware Sea Grant College Program. Specifically, taught people of all ages about autonomous aerial vehicles (drones) and their scientific applications to coastal systems.

University of Delaware – US Naval Academy Annapolis Joint Summer Internship, May 29 – June 19, 2019. Trained and oversaw two US Naval Academy midshipmen summer interns. Training included small boat handling and trailering, drone piloting, fieldwork operations, data collection and processing, technical writing of standard operating procedure manuals, and scientific presentations. Training and fieldwork were a part of an ongoing University of Delaware – Delaware Sea Grant joint project to study recreational crabbing effort and locate derelict crab pots in Delaware Inland Bays.

University of Delaware Coast Day, “Science Serving Coastal Communities”. October 7, 2018. Conducted outreach activities in the Robotics Discovery Lab during the day-long community event sponsored by the University of Delaware’s College of Earth, Ocean, & Environment and the Delaware Sea Grant College Program. Specifically, taught elementary through high-school age students how to design, build, and pilot their own underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROV’s).

University of Delaware Taking an Interest in Delaware’s Estuaries (TIDE) Camp, July 8-20, 2018. University of Delaware College of Earth, Ocean, & Environment. Conducted outreach activities during a thirteen day marine science summer program for high school students. Specifically, taught students how to design, build, and pilot their own underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROV’s).

Graduate Teaching Assistant, August 2014 – May 2016. University of New Hampshire Department of Earth Sciences. Teaching assistant for undergraduate Earth Science classes of 80 students. Connected students with professors. Ran class recitation/lab sessions and student study sessions. Wrote and graded quizzes, homeworks, and tests. Assisted professors with in-class demonstrations and lectures. Classes: Earth in Film (2 semesters), Beaches and Coasts (2 semesters), Global Environmental Change (1 semester).
