Effective March 1, 2021, BrowZine will no longer be available due to required Library budget reductions. While the loss of this tool is disappointing, BrowZine is only one means of locating and accessing articles, and its cancellation does nothing to diminish the amount of full-text journal content enjoyed by UD students, faculty, and staff members.
If you have been using the My Bookshelf feature in BrowZine as an alerting service for new articles in journals of interest, here are a few alternatives to consider:
- Go to a journal’s home page and sign up to have new tables of contents e-mailed directly to you as issues are published. Many journals also share new content on Twitter and via RSS feeds.
- Use JournalTOCs, a free service that provides access to tables of contents for over 12,000 scholarly journals. Alerts can be emailed or sent to an RSS feed.
- Set up journal alerts within subject databases. Contact me if you need help!
