Entries Forms due November 19

This festive holiday activity is perfect for everyone to get involved, have fun, and spread joy throughout the community. As part of a 4-H club, members can unleash their creativity by crafting handmade Christmas tree decorations. These decorated trees will be displayed in various community locations, adding to the holiday spirit and staying up throughout the season.

When choosing a location for your tree, please ensure it is accessible during our office hours (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM). Trees will be judged on neatness and originality, with the main goal being to share some holiday cheer with those who need it most. While this is a club contest, individuals are encouraged to decorate and display their own trees as a service project within their communities.

 Details:

  • Deadline for Display: Trees must be in place by December 2nd. Judging will take place over the following two weeks.
  • Entry Form: Clubs must complete the entry form and submit it to the 4-H office by November 19th to be included in the judging.

Guidelines:

  1. All decorations must be handmade and can be created using any materials (e.g., natural items, fabric, ceramics). However, food items are not allowed, as they spoil easily.
  2. The tree must have a visible title reflecting its theme for the judges.
  3. Energy-efficient electric lights are optional but not required.
  4. Each club is responsible for providing its own tree. Tree height must be over 3 feet tall.
  5. Make sure to proudly display your 4-H Club’s name along with your tree!

Let’s make this holiday season brighter by sharing our 4-H spirit and creativity with the community!
