Invitation to the 2023 Delaware Congressional Delegation Youth Conference sponsored by
U.S. Senator Chris Coons
It is our pleasure to bring to you the 2023 Delaware Congressional Delegation Youth Conference sponsored by U.S. Senator Chris Coons. This is an opportunity for Delaware high school juniors and seniors to come together to discuss issues of importance and learn how to remain actively engaged in their local communities.
- The conference will occur on April 24, 2023, at Delaware State University (1200 North Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901) MLK Center, 2nd floor.
- Registration will begin promptly at 7:30 am on the first floor of the MLK Center. Activities will conclude at approximately 2:15 pm.
For more than 50 years, the Youth Conference has been a long-standing tradition, providing opportunities for aspiring leaders from across Delaware to come together, share ideas, and gain insight into real-world challenges and opportunities. In addition to U.S. Senator Chris Coons, this year’s event will feature U.S. Senator Tom Carper, U.S. Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester, Delaware Representatives Mike Smith, Sherry Dorsey Walker, and many others that will be sure to keep your students engaged and inspired. There will also be a community service activity in collaboration with the Delaware Food Bank that will provide essential food and educational items to those in need.
