Past events
Christmas is almost right around the corner. We were all preparing ourselves for the big Christmas parade with our float and our Trim-A-Tree event. I am happy to say we got first place for our 4-H float that we entered into the parade this year. All of the kids and adults had fun preparing and being in the parade this year and are thankful we got to participate. Our Trim-A-Tree has officially been finished and needless to say, the people really enjoyed our finished product. We are still unsure what placement we got but are hopeful that our club did really well. December 4th was our volunteer work for the Salvation Army, which many of us, including myself, participated in. Our club always enjoys finding ways to help our community in any way, shape, or form. Once again we are thankful we get to engage in these great opportunities. (Below is an image of some of the many members that went to help out with the Salvation Army at Redner’s. Lilly, Caiden, and Colton Allaband.) New Events
Like I said in the beginning of this article, Christmas is right around the corner. This weekend we have the Wreaths Across America at the cemetery. We are truly excited to take a day in remembrance of our soldiers that have fought for our country and lost their lives in the line of duty. Thank you to all who serve us and let us have the freedom that we have. This month is almost halfway over and our club has been keeping busy. We want to wish you a very Merry Christmas from the Westville 4-H club and always remember the true reason for the season.
Peach Blossom 4-H Club

Peach Blossom 4-H Club has been very busy the last two months. The club had its monthly meetings in November and December, November we had a guest speaker from the Food Bank Chad Robinson come and talk about the food bank and what they do. In November we also had our Peach Blossom Family Night, where all the members were recognized for their hard work throughout the previous year. This year was a little different. We had it outside at the Webb Farm, but we were able to still have our small silent auction and live auction as a fundraiser for our club. December was our monthly meeting, the kids did a sock exchange and one of the members give a presentation on the “Holly” and the kids all put together an ornament with the Shape of Delaware engraved in wood on it and they were able to put a holly sticker and ribbon on it as well as the Holly meaning on the back. The Peach Blossom Members have been very busy outside of the meetings, they have been attending project meetings from foods, photography and archery are just a couple, they have also participated in Holiday Fun day and are preparing for the Public Speaking contest in January. Many of the members have also been out in the community ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, decorating the Festival of Trees at the Delaware Ag Museum, Laying wreaths on Veterans graves for Wreaths Across America, and also participating in the Food Bank volunteer services. We are very excited to bring in the new year of 2022 and see what it holds for the Peach Blossom Members and other Delaware 4-H’ers. Peach Blossom would like to wish all of Delaware 4-H, friends, and family a great holiday season with their friends and family. Be Safe and Enjoy the moments you have with everyone.
