Our November club meeting included a Thanksgiving canned food drive as our community service project.  The food drive benefits the Harrington Senior Center which is where we have our 4-H meetings.  We had a great turnout for this community service project – thank you to everyone who donated!

There are many fun activities planned this month, between project groups and committee meetings, preparing for holiday events.  There is a lot to choose from, so I hope each club member tries to participate in at least one activity.  See you next month!

Midnight arrives on November 1st, and it’s time to start preparing for the Holiday Season. Likewise, during our most recent meeting, at the Hartly Fire Hall, we made hunting-themed ornaments to hang on our 6-foot Christmas tree. We used various supplies to create the ornaments, including pinecones, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, wooden cutouts of many animals, mason jar lids, clay targets, and camouflage netting. If you have any activity ideas for our future meetings, please share them with our troop leader, Mrs. Angela Gooden. It would be very helpful. Mark your calendars: our next meeting on December 1st is a gift exchange. Bring a gift for $ 10 or less and some Christmas spirit. Thank you for reading and don’t forget to be kind.
