Dover Clovers 4-H Club

On April 18th, the Dover Clovers held our monthly meeting. We began by taking a walk for our healthy activity. We started the meeting by talking about the bank balance and our finances, including how much we raised from our roller skating fundraiser. Next, our 4H leader reminded us about the upcoming walking challenge. Then we talked about our entry into the bunny drive, the skill-a-thon, and the public speaking contest. We decided we would donate to the bunny drive, so our 4-H leader said she would buy the bunnies and drop them off at the 4-H office.
We then talked about the events and projects. We decided to have a paint day event the day before Mother’s Day. We will start our butterfly project at the next meeting and plan to go to Cape May at the end of the month.
Lastly, our 4-H leader reminded everyone to sign up for the State Fair.
On May 10th, we held a painting event. The members and their parents all painted a mixed-media painting in a class led by an art teacher at the campus Community School. We all had a lot of fun and look forward to having more events like this.

During the May club meeting, we combined a regular meeting with our Club Awards Ceremony. Awards and gifts were given out to many members for their participation in events throughout this year. A lot of families attended since this was our last club meeting of the year. Our Club Leaders announced the Club Officers for 2025-2026, and we held an election for Club Reporter. We ended with an ice cream treat!
