Hello, fellow 4-Hers! On-Target 4-H has been very busy this year. Some of our club members participated in the National 4-H Shooting Sports Quiz in January which was a ton of fun and a great learning experience. This month we are busy preparing for the Horse Bowl in March and upcoming contests such as favorite foods and photography/woodworking. Our club is hosting the 2nd Kent County 4-H Art Contest again this year. Entries are due April 12th to the 4-H office and will be displayed at the Kent County Library through the end of April. Prizes will be awarded in each category & age division! Special thanks to the 4-H Foundation and the 4-H office for their generous support of this event. We are looking forward to all of the spring 4-H events and hope to see you there!

Peach Blossom 4-H Club
News February 2024

February was a busy month for our club! Our February meeting was a blast – we had some amazing experts from the MERR Institute come in to teach us about Delaware’s aquatic wildlife, some of their animal rehab stories, and what to do if we find an aquatic animal in trouble. They had some interesting activities to do, including an inflatable whale, and everyone had fun. A few of our leaders and members attended the University of Delaware Men’s Basketball Mascot Day game. We saw and met many mascots such as Chris Clover, YouDee, Trash Can Dan, and Baby Blue! It was a fun day and UD even won the game, 84-80. A few members attended the Livestock Overnighter and a good time was had by all. Peach Blossom had a fun and busy February, and can’t wait to see what March brings!
