a weekend of hands-on learning experiences!
4-H members ages 13 and above are welcome to attend!
2024 Delaware 4-H State Teen Conference, “In Our 4-H Era.” The conference will be held Saturday, February 17, through Sunday, February 18, 2024. Accommodations are being provided by the UD Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Newark. The total cost to attend the conference is $100; however, many 4-H members will qualify for a discount through your county 4-H office, provided youth meet the minimum requirements of participation. Prior to registering, please contact your county office to confirm if you will receive the discount. Included in the registration fee are lodging, four meals, a UD-sponsored event, educational workshops, and a t-shirt. Participants are also invited to a dance and snack party on Saturday evening. For weather and safety issues, all Sussex and Kent County attendees are required to ride the bus to the event. Pick-up and drop-off locations will be at the Kent and Sussex County Extension offices. Members of the Delaware 4-H staff will chaperone this event. Registration will only be accepted through 4-H Online beginning December 1. Within 48 hours of submission, you will receive a registration confirmation email with a secure online payment link. Registration is not fully confirmed until payment is made. All attendees must be enrolled in 4-H Online for the 2023-2024 program year and have a valid health form on file. The final day to register for the conference is Friday, January 26.
