National Ignite by 4-H Summit
March 9-12, 2023 – Renaissance Hotel, Washington, DC
Find Your Spark. The National Ignite by 4-H Summit combines the previous National Youth Summits for Agri-Science, STEM, and Healthy Living into one experience to serve as a catalyst for 4-H teens to explore these 4-H topic areas through dynamic speakers, industry experts, and hands-on experiences in career development and community development while empowering youth to spark their passion, explore the issues they care about, and create connections for success, today and tomorrow.
Who can apply? Delaware 4-H’ers in good standing, currently in their sophomore or junior year of high school, are encouraged to apply.
How do I apply? All 4-H’ers interested in applying must submit a completed application to the State 4-H Office by the deadline. A completed application includes the general information page, open-ended questions and a one-page essay. In addition to the application, applicants will be asked to participate in an interview (in person or Zoom, TBD).
When is the deadline? All applications are due to the State 4-H Office no later than Friday, January 6, 2023. This is a firm deadline and applications must be received by 4:00 pm on the due date in order to be considered.
Can I apply more than one time? If you have applied previously and were not accepted, you may apply again, provided you still meet the eligibility requirements. You also may apply for a “summit track” for which you have not previously been selected as a delegate and attended the National Summit.
