The Health and Wellness Ambassadors are collecting items for the CANgineering Food Bank project and planning to build a food sculpture for judging! HAWAs will collect food from May 2nd-May 20th to create a food sculpture at the NCC Extension OFFICE on May 21st. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm at the NCC office or 8:00 am – 4:30 pm at the Kent County Office or make arrangements with asaienni@udel.edu for outside these hours. Please consider these high priority items: Peanut Butter, Canned Vegetables, Canned Soups, Canned Meats like tuna and chicken, Canned Fruits, and Canned Dinners (spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli, etc.) as a reminder no food can be donated in glass containers.
