DELAWARE ARCHERY
Delaware 4-H, State & JOAD Indoor Archery Championship
DELAWARE WILL HOST OUR 2ND INDOOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS THE EVENT WILL COINCIDE WITH THE 4-H ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP. THIS IS A GREAT WARM-UP FOR ARCHERS IN THE LANCASTER CLASSIC.
The Delaware 4-H, State & JOAD Indoor Archery Championship event will be held again in the same location, providing a great central location for Archers in Delaware to compete. We have worked with USA Archery, Delaware 4-H in conjunction with the University of Delaware, and the Delaware State Fair to organize and coordinate this event.
We are holding the State Championship for Delaware, providing opportunities to compete locally, as well as helping Archers to move up to National Competitions.
Bringing this event together with the partnerships of these organizations to support the Youth, Sport and our Communities in a responsible and fun manner is our goal.
The Delaware State & JOAD Championship tournament is a FITA Indoor 600 round at 18m (60 arrows) & registered as a STAR FITA with USAA for World/USA Record Qualification. Awards will be presented for each division and class within USA Archery Standards for the event. If you are shooting in this event from another state, you will qualify for the event guest/visitor awards.
The Delaware 4-H State Indoor Archery Championship is a Indoor 300 round (30 arrows). Delaware 4-H Membership is required to register for this event. Participants can compete in multiple Classes, and awards will be presented for each Division and Class.

The facility is located on the Delaware State Fairgrounds within walking distance to the Harrington Raceway and Casino.

- Practice for State & 4-H Event
- The facility and range will be open to all registered participants for picking up registration information and offering an opportunity to see the range, as well as practice on Practice on-site, is not permitted on the days of the USA Archery event.
- Noon – 6 pm Practice

Lower Delaware Archers
About Us
Lower Delaware Archers is a Delaware 4-H Club that is also a USA Archery Club. Our primary focus is on Youth Development and Growth with an Archery Habit. The group was formed as a couple of our youth loved the 4-H Archery programs and wanted more, so we worked to provide opportunities. We focus on Archery with STEM principles. We do this in a safe “Fun First” structured environment with 4-H Certified Instructors who are also USA Archery Certified Coaches. Archery is truly a lifelong sport that the whole family can participate in and helps to build character while so much more than shooting is taught.
Proceeds from the event will go to support funding the supplies for the club and travel for youth archers competing in National Events. Lower Delaware Archers is a 501(c) 3 Organization.
