Committee Arrival for Set Up: 12:30pm
Entry Drop off begins at 1:30 until 2:00 PM (entry form is attached below)
Place: Exhibit Hall, Delaware State Fairgrounds NEW
Admission / Community Awareness:
Please bring donations from the attached list for the local Code Purple shelters
Age Categories (4-H age as of January 1, 2022)
Cloverbud 5-7 Beginner 8-10 Junior 11-13 Senior 14-19
EVENT 1: Gingerbread Houses (One house entry per member)
Individual: completed by one (1) member-only or Group: two (2) or more members, entered in the age of the oldest member. The base should be no larger than 12 inches X 12 inches. Only edible decorations can be used in the display.

EVENT 2: Wreath or Wall Hanging (One entry per member)
Decorated wreath or wall hanging with a Christmas/Holiday Theme (any media permitted)
EVENT 3: Christmas Card Contest (May enter one entry for each class)
These classes are part of the Delaware State Fair class list; items may be submitted in a clear page protector, although care will be used, we cannot be responsible for any damage.

EVENT 4: Christmas Ornaments (one entry per member)
This class is part of the Delaware State Fair class list; entry must be displayed in a way that contains all items together, ex: a paper plate/plastic wrap, Ziplock bag, etc. Display not considered for judging.

Although Code Purple will take any items on their donation list, they are specifically asking for:
Gently Used or New Winter Coats, Sweatshirts and Blankets
If possible, please encourage your clubs to hold a drive for these specific items.
Please bring donations to Holiday Fun Day or drop off to the 4-H Office no later than Tuesday, December 7th.
We will be creating Letters of Hope, at Holiday Fun Day on Dec 5, to send as well. We hope you will consider participating.
