Kent County Jr. Council Club News February 2021

Kent County Jr. Council held its sixth meeting of the year on February 23rd. We started off this meeting by going over county updates and reviewing old business. After speaking on opinions and criticism of recent events, we moved on to talk about the University of Delaware “Ag Day” and upcoming camps. Also, we reminded everyone that the National Beekeeping Essay is coming up. A reminder to everyone that the basket auction is coming soon. Overall, the meeting was very successful and informative, we are all looking forward to continuing the 4-H year!
Harrington Sunshine 4-H

Harrington Sunshine 4-H club held their monthly meeting on Monday, February 1, 2021, by Zoom, there were 18 members online. The meeting was called to order by President Carmie Blanchette, the Pledge of Allegiance and 4H pledge were read. The leaders went over new events for the month, as well as re-establishing that we can only have 10 people at in-person events whenever we have them. Our next meeting will be on March 1st, 2021.
