Annual Arbor Day Poster Contest and
Free Seedling Program
Theme: “Trees are Terrific … In Many Wonderful Ways!”
Poster Contest open to all K-5th grade youth
Annually, over 3,000 K-5 students in Delaware participate in this program all while learning the many, amazing benefits of trees. We hope this program can be a way to incorporate nature into your curriculum and serve as a therapeutic activity. The registration page includes an opportunity to give your thoughts on how to improve participation in this program. We hope to offer seedlings this year which depends on a group of senior citizen volunteers to prepare and “wrap.” We may have to get creative on how we supply the seedlings to you this year.
IMPORTANT POINTS
- You must register your class/club to reserve your seedlings by March 15 at https://2021arbordaypostercontest.eventbrite.com

- Winning posters must reach DDA (2320 S. Dupont Hgwy, Dover) by April 1
- Seedlings will be delivered late-April
