For Instructors: 

  • Any device (BYOD)
  • PC or Macintosh laptop or desktop
  • University Google Sites ID and Email
  • Blackboard for Grades
  • Access to textbooks and other class resources (multimodal)
  • Access to graphic organizers/all class materials
  • Instruction on how to use class resources at a level of expertise
  • Help in assisting students troubleshoot (refer them to the correct resources)
  • Set up/modify grade columns in Blackboard
  • Set up/modify assignments in Blackboard
  • Modify/add text and video resources in Google Docs and in Blackboard

For Students:

    • Check syllabus
    • Predict deadlines
    • Be strategic/realistic about pacing work
    • Active/closely read with scaffolding
    • Reflect on reading/ make thinking visible
    • Create projects in response to new information

    • Look at feedback
    • Revise work in response to feedback
    • Do future work at a higher level in response to feedback
