I wanted to start off by saying I love your topic! I grew up on Disney movies, and I am so happy that Disney is making an effort to match their princesses with more progressive characteristics. In 2014, women are stronger, more outspoken, and independent. Newer Disney movies such as Frozen and Brave have definitely adapted to this modern standard. Your use of Frozen and the Frog Princess as an example of progressive princesses in contrast with Aurora from Sleeping Beauty and Ariel from the Little Mermaid, who depend on men and love to save them is excellent, and really helps to prove your point. I thought the hyperlinks were very helpful, and I found the link to the article about Frozen to be very interesting.
I think your topic is great, and it would be cool if you maybe looked at some feminist views on Disney movies as well, and incorporated them into the research paper. I tI am very excited to read more posts from you!
