Jerome Roehm

Mathematics PhD Candidate

University of Delaware

jroehm@udel.edu

I am a fifth year PhD candidate at the University of Delaware, where I am currently researching topological data analysis and its applications to navigation in neuroscience with Dr. Chad Giusti. I also have interests in theoretical algebraic topology, combinatorics, and graph theory.

I have a passion for mathematics and teaching. I graduated with Bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and secondary education from Benedictine College (Go Ravens!) and taught for two years at Riverbend High School (Go Red Hawks!) while obtaining a Master’s degree in education. Now at University of Delaware, I plan on graduating and defending in Spring 2023. I’m currently on the job market for the ’23-’24 academic year. Here is a link to my CV.

When I’m not studying or teaching math, I am running, biking, cooking, or hanging out with my amazing wife and our pet parakeets.
