What the Hell!?

I have wanted to start a blog for a long time, but I have not set aside the time required to put something meaningful together. It seems that there is always something more pressing. Well, the time is now and I hope that someone can find some value in this blog. There are 3 criteria that I have created to determine the suitability of a post.

  1. Is it educational?
  2. Will other turfgrass managers find it interesting or valuable?
  3. Will it provoke a thought or challenge the status quo?

If the answer is “yes” to any of those criteria then the idea/topic will be suitable for publishing.

I anticipate that this site will evolve over time as I do not have a clear roadmap on what I am going to say or post to make the site worthy of people’s time.

My thought is that I will post monthly to start and see how that goes. Tabs will be added over time that contain other relevant turfgrass information and I am sure those too will evolve as we go along.

It is reasonable to expect that the topics of my posts will span the entire turfgrass industry. These posts could be related to lawn care, golf, sod, gardens, sports fields, and even right-of-ways. There should be a little something for everyone here as there is significant overlap of fundamental principles between each niche of the industry.

I have 3 personal outcomes I hope to achieve. Educate turfgrass managers, keep the public abreast of my research, and improve my writing skills.
