This course applies a sustainability lens to solving environmental challenges in the developing world. We discuss appropriate technologies for use in developing countries, along with the cultural implications and economic and social sustainability of these technologies.

The course introduces technical content related to water, sanitation, renewable energy, and waste management through lectures, a semester-long team project, and guest speakers.
