John D’Arcy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting & MIS, Lerner College of Business and Economics, at the University of Delaware. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Temple University with a specialization in Management Information Systems (MIS). Prior to joining academia, he was employed by Ford Motor Company as a cost accountant and financial systems analyst.
Dr. D’Arcy’s research interests include information assurance and security, IT risk management, and computer ethics. His work appears in journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, and MIT Sloan Management Review. He also serves as an associate editor at MIS Quarterly and on the editorial board of the Journal of the Association for Information Systems.
