Modern GIS: A geospatial platform
Ridge Waddell will be discussing the definition of Modern GIS and reviewing the skillsets a modern GIS position in the workforce will require. I can also review the ways which our Esri Education team can help update their curriculum too.Ridge Waddell
Ridge Waddell is a Lead Account Manager on the ESRI Higher Education team. He manages our Higher Education accounts in the Northeast region of the USA. He works collaboratively with Esri Industry solutions teams to help disseminate the value of GIS across both Academia and Operational Administration in Higher ED and k-12 academia & administration, along with libraries and Museums. He is responsible for making sure educators are developing the next GIS professional workforce and bringing to them the value of Esri’s Geospatial cloud. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and Management information Sciences. Before joining Esri Ridge served more than 13 years working in Higher Ed Technology Business Development within the CAD software industry
