ArcGIS Field Maps is the latest addition to the Esri suite of mobile applications. In its first release, Field Maps combines the functionality of ArcGIS Explorer, Collector, and Tracker into one app, and future iterations will include ArcGIS Workforce and Navigator. But this app introduces new capabilities as well. Maps used by those in the field are now configurable through a web app, making it easier for administrators to manage content used by others. Additionally, smart forms can be built into the mobile app to make attribute collection more efficient and logical. This presentation will dive into: (1) what ArcGIS Field Maps is and how it came to be, (2) how it is used by those in the field, (3) and how managers in the office can quickly configure maps for field workers.
