Issue with calling from or connecting to a 500 and 600 series Panasonic cordless phone

Currently, users of 500 and 600 series Panasonic cordless phones are experiencing issues, including loss of dial tone. Any calls made to these phones will most likely go straight to voice mail.  Information Technologies is working to resolve these issues as soon as possible.

What to do if you have an issue

Until we have resolved these issues, please use alternate devices to contact 911.  We suggest that you periodically check your voice mail.  Telephone Services can set up the feature which would allow users to receive their voice mail messages in their e-mail.  If you are experiencing issues with a 500 or 600 series Panasonic cordless phone, and have not yet contacted Telephone Services, please do so at ( telephone-services@udel.edu ).
