PHILLIP MCNEIL

Project Assistant, Island Policy Lab 

Phillip is a graduate student in the Energy and Environmental policy program. He grew up in the village of Arden in Wilmington, Delaware. Phillip graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2019 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He has also completed internships at the Philadelphia Zoo and the Daniel Baugh Institute for Functional Genomics and Computational Biology at Thomas Jefferson University. During his senior year, Phillip was co-president of UMW ADOPTA Rainforest, a student club focused on raising funds for the Non-profit Panama Bosque Rainforest. He organized and participated in fundraising events and community awareness and service activities with the goal of promoting conservation of watersheds and rivers..
