Apple’s iPhoto for iOS is an everyday go to app for your photo editing needs and is one of three apps in Apple’s iLife suite. In fact if you only could have one this is probably the to get. All the editing basics are here as well as some very powerful tools and effects and iPhoto supports images up to a whopping 36 megapixels with nondestructive editing.
Browsing, sorting, tagging and cataloging your images in folders is super easy. You can even compare images side-by-side and flag them. Editing images is just as easy with simple yet powerful tools including, various white balance options, saturation, crop and straighten and more. You can use edge detection options to adjust just certain parts of the image while lighting, darkening and sharpening your images. You’ll also find some of the more useful repair brushes, like red-eye removal, and repair brush for spots and blemishes.
On top of that there are all kinds of effects, like graduated filters, toned black-and-white photos, vignettes, tilt-shift, hand-sketched or painted ink effects.
iPhoto is iCloud enabled so all of your edited images will appear on all your devices, if you have that option turned on. You can also send to other social networks like Flickr, Twitter and Face Book. Another nice feature is you can send to other apps you have on your device.
