- I am Dr. Goossen and I am the Director of the Industrial Assessment Center at the University of Delaware. I have a PhD in Electrical Engineering. I am an expert in, and have taught and published on electrical devices and systems. Other aspects of industrial energy efficiency I’ve learned “on the job” in the 70 or so assessments I’ve been on!
- Ralph Nigro, PE, is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, and is the Assistant Director of the University of Delaware’s Industrial Assessment Center. His background includes a broad range of technology and management experience including renewable energy, distributed generation, conventional electric generation, energy efficiency, and their associated policy and regulatory issues. Ralph is a Senior Vice President with Applied Energy Group, Inc. where he works with a variety of clients from the industrial, utility, and government sectors to provide consulting and management services.
The members of the Industrial Assessment Center at the University of Delaware include undergraduate and graduate students from a variety of backgrounds.
