Brandywine River Museum: Gibbs Education Intern (two positions available)

The Brandywine River Museum Education Department engages visitors of all ages with the museum’s collection and special exhibitions through dynamic programs and interpretive materials. This internship is an opportunity to learn more about museum education by working alongside staff to assist with designing and leading craft activities, scavenger hunts, adult gallery talks, and additional programs, specifically tying into our special exhibition open from September 28, 2025 to March 1, 2026, Jerrell Gibbs: No Solace in the Shade. Program audiences include children, families, and adults. This fall will include opportunities to plan for and deliver educational programs including Free First Sundays, Read-Aloud, and Art Chats. Interns will develop essential skills in museum interpretation, visitor engagement, and art supply management. An art or education related background is preferred but not required. This internship requires on-site work in Chadds Ford, PA but also has some work from home opportunities.
